Welcome to June on The Artisan Food Trail. This month we give our approval to two of Holy Lama Naturals’ Spice Drops and have used them in our two recipes. We also continue with our reviews and approvals of Capsicana’s new Cook Sauces and give our approval to the Brazilian Chilli & Coconut. Our competition is just for food businesses - a chance to win up to £5000 of help to grow your business. We’re also pleased to announce our media partnership with this year’s Speciality & Fine Food Fair, The Food Entrepreneur Show and The Farm Business Innovation Show.

Fennel & Lemon Butter Dressing
Holy Lama Naturals’ Spice Drops were a perfect addition to this really simple dressing. Just a few drops added the flavour we needed and worked so well liberally doused over salmon and asparagus. These Fennel Spice Drops really did gain our approval.

A Sauce to Make Your Taste Buds Dance
A little while ago we brought you the taste of Peru and now we travel to the largest Latin American country, Brazil, for some sun, dance and vibrant culture. Perhaps not quite literally, but these words can certainly describe the flavours in Capsicana s new Chilli & Coconut Brazilian Cook Sauce.

Cardamom & Black Pepper Biscuits
A second approval for Holy Lama Naturals this month as we’ve been using their Cardamom Spice Drops in our cardamom and black pepper biscuits. Ground cardamom seems hard to come by, but a few drops of Cardamom Spice Drops added the right amount of flavour.
