Our extra virgin olive oils are made with olives hand picked by us on our small estates near the ancient town of Ugento (Puglia, Italy) in the Salento peninsula (the "heel of the boot").
Some of our trees are thought to be 400 years old, and the groves themselves have been in our family for five generations.
Each year (December-January) we get together for the harvest: after picking the olives, we take them to the local mill in the evening and the morning after we collect our olive oil, which we bring to you, bypassing middlemen and distributors.
Our guarantee is that what you find in the bottle is pure olive oil: we do not refine it, we do not blend it with lower quality products, we do not add chlorophyll or other colouring substances. We are olive oil farmers, and our only aim is to keep the family tradition alive.
I am so proud of our EVOO, that I named it after my mother.
