Is it August already? Time has flown by here at The Artisan Food Trail and after a brief quiet spell on the newsletter front we’re pleased to bring you a pretty packed one for your summer enjoyment.
We got quite excited when we picked up some new members, all with interesting ethical and environmentally sound businesses. British honey from Bees & Co. produced at their carbon neutral honey farm, Peregrine Trading who bring their SEGGIANO & LUNAIO Italian artisan brands and Welsh Rural Foodies Limited with their delicious Coco Pzazz chocolate creations.
On the subject of chocolate, Mortimer Chocolate Company are now stocking their drinking chocolate range in Ocado. If you’re lucky enough to get your barbecue fired up then you may be interested in the new sauces from Yare Valley Oils.
We’ve also introduced a new section to The Artisan Food Trail blog called Kitchen Tips which has helpful how-to guides and ideas to get the most from your cooking. It looks at some techniques and tricks for added culinary confidence.
No product approvals this time around but we can say that we have a little box of goodies that we’re gradually tasting our way through so look out for something from Seggiano, Yare Valley and Mr Filbert’s soon…
We do have a couple of recipes for you though, if you like something as a sweet treat or Sunday tea.
